OUR PROCESS
Every bride’s journey is different—and we’re here to meet you exactly where you are.
Whether you know exactly what you want, or just have that quiet feeling of “this still isn’t quite it,” our process is designed to feel relaxed, collaborative, and deeply personal.
Here’s how it works:
✧ Step 1: The Initial Call
We begin with a friendly, no-pressure chat to get to know you — what you’re looking for, what you want to avoid, and how you want to feel in your dress. We’ll talk through your ideas, your day, and your values, so we can start shaping a vision that’s uniquely yours.
✧ Step 2: Studio Fitting (or remote alternative)
If you can, you’re invited to our studio in Brighton for a private fitting and design consultation.
If you’re further away, we can work entirely remotely—we’ve created beautiful, meaningful dresses for brides we've never met in person.
✧ Step 3: Fabric & Design Collaboration
We’ll guide you through fabric options, design details, and custom touches. Whether we’re sourcing vintage textiles or adapting one of our silhouettes, you’ll be part of the process without ever feeling overwhelmed.
✧ Step 4: Creation
Once everything’s confirmed, your dress is made slowly and intentionally — tailored to your measurements or with a fitting plan if you’re working remotely.
No mass production. Just thoughtful design, made with care.

HYA's sustainable and ethical approach appealed to me, and their website was reassuring and welcoming.

I came across Here You Are Bridal when I was looking for a non traditional and sustainable wedding dress for our elopement to the rocky mountains in Canada. I needed a dress that felt like me and also was suitable for some hiking and climbing on rocks. As someone who didn't want a white wedding dress, it was difficult to find something that felt special enough, that was until I came across HYA.
Laura helped me focus my thoughts and she designed the perfect dress after multiple discussions and a visit to her Brighton home studio. What she came up with was amazing and she listened to everything I wanted. Laura was so responsive throughout the whole process and updated me regularly.
